University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine) is the 13th public university in the United States. Three Nobel Prizes have been awarded to UC Irvine faculty members. The city of Irvine, ranked as one of the safest cities in the nation, is located within the heartland of The O.C. (Orange County), a dynamic and fast growing environment close to the Pacific Ocean. UC Irvine Extension, International Undergraduate Preparation Program (IUPP), can improve the chances of students being admitted as an international freshman. IUPP offers international students the opportunity to enroll in undergraduate classes for credit, all within a structure of support from qualified professionals. Students can choose from the General Track and Bio Sci Track and benefit from extensive one-on-one advising from qualified academic advisors, 20-hour of Academic and American Course, 30-hour of SAT, UCI application assistance, tutoring, and introduction to the UCI campus, its prestigious faculty, resources.
